World Champion in Super-G, Hahnenkamm Champion & multiple World Cup Winner

If you want to become a world champion, practice early: Hannes was only 2.5 years old when he first stood on the boards that would later mean the world to him. His enthusiasm for skiing was aroused. Already during his school days he trained almost daily and preferred to exchange homework for kilometres on the slopes. When he chased with high speed and a long jump over the steep mountain edge at the local mountain in Radstadt, he was completely in his element. Hannes' talent did not remain hidden for long and in the mid-90s the fast lad from SC Radstadt was noticed beyond the borders of Salzburg. In 1999 he made it into the ÖSV squad, and in 2001 Hannes celebrated his debut in the Alpine Ski World Cup.

With numerous great successes he was able to realize his childhood dream and gave his fans many great moments and unforgettable skiing moments. His career was also accompanied by some injuries, but as a real fighter Hannes always managed to find his way back to the top of the world. Family and friends gave him the necessary support.

Hannes also finds speed and adrenaline kicks in his hobbies of flying and kite surfing. However, the "neo-ski retiree" prefers to spend his time with his family. After their wedding in September 2016, son Niklas has been making Hannes and his wife Larissa's happiness perfect since April 2019.
